Jet – Rescue

Jet playing at the dog park 2005

Jet’s owner writes the following:
I got Jet as a puppy from an individual breader I knew.
She is now 10 years old.
Jetis a full bred, but unfortunately I do not have papers on her.
She did have female problems when she was 4 with her uterus,
and had to have some surgery but she has been great ever since.
She is spayed.
Jet is a very mild tempered dog and loves attention and likes to be around people.
She has never been hostile to anyone, and she is very gentle.
She is housebroken and comes in and out of the house.
She weighs about 90lbs and is 30 inches tall. (She needs to lose some poundage.)
She is black and tan, cropped and docked.
Jet is also very friendly with other dogs and kids as well.
I am hoping to find a home for her as I will be moving in the next couple of months
at the end of July possibly mid August.
It breaks my heart to do so as she has been a very loyal dog
and I love her so very much.
Unfortunately due to personal reasons I will not be able to take her with me.
She is located in Orlandol. She has all her shots and rabies vaccination as of April 08′
She is also on Heartguard tablets.
I do also realize with her age that it may be difficult to find her a home.
I just want to find a good home for my girl.

About Helen

I'm a Southern California living in South Florida. I've been here for 10 years as of October 1, 2007. No matter where I live, I'm a dog lover, and my breed is the Dobermann Pinscher of the Working Group. I am also fond of the Australian Shepherd of the Herding Group. My life revolves around my dogs, which is something those family members of mine don't understand. So I'm an island in that respect, but have built friendships with those who are doggie lovers and respect the canine as much as I do. Some do rescue, some train in, compete in, and judge AKC trials. The common thread is our dogs are family.
