Premier Harness Update

I received the replacement harnesses today from Premier. I sent them out via overnight on Dec. 5 with a check for $11.90. So it took 13 days for the turnaround. Nevertheless, we now have a full set of harnesses again. Mostly. OK, a half set. But it’s a nice thing, isn’t it? That Premier offers this to their customers. Lord knows dogs chew.

By the way, if you ever buy a Lupine collar, and maybe it goes for their harnesses, too, they will send you a free replacement if you merely send the chewed/broken piece to them. No check required. At least that was the process I went through when one of the easy-click collars broke.

There are some really decent companies in the pet field. Find them, and work with them…that’s my motto.

The Sixth Day of Christmas

Ollie is the Sixth Dobermann of Christmas. He’s very handsome and can be the most innocent looking of all. He has those big round brown eyes always full of expression.

He’s a good soul, Ollie is.

The 2007 Annual Motorcycle Toy Run

On Sunday, December 09, I walked to the I-95/I-595 freeway overpass to watch the Motorcycle Toy Run. I took my camera and told myself I’d take pictures till my batteries wore out. Instead, I had to stop due to the sun burning my legs. It was hard to walk away from all these caring, giving, waving people on hogs. Usually, honking horns is cause for defense in South Florida, but the sound of horns on this day was elating. There were so many waves and smiles and people yelling at the top of their voices wishing each other happy holidays. I only wish I could have gotten a picture of everyone. What an eclectic group of warm-hearted Americans.God bless America and Her many fine citizens!
